My music magazine advert

This is my music magazine advert and again I went with the colour scheme of red. I added all of the relevant information what needed to be added to the advert and I know these by looking at the convention of existing adverts.

Digipak album artwork

This is my digipak album artwork I used the colour red for the sigh of love in conjunction with the rose what is also a symbol for love. I made the main image in black and white to add to the boldness of the text and her lips.

These are the conventions of a digipak including the packaging and what the inside looks like. Also what is on the back and the front of one.

Filming Diary

These where from the first day of filming when we where filming the speed dating scene and setting it up waiting for people to come and making sure the framing was all okay. We filmed more people than we needed to just to make sure we had enough footage and people.

This was from the second day of filming just after we filmed the bedroom scene. We where filming her running down the stairs what can be a safety hazard but it all went okay I didn't want to get to much wall in but I think it looked okay in the end. 

Conventions of a magazine album advert

These are the conventions of what a magazine album advert would have. I will try to adhere to what they are when creating y own advert for my album it will have similar colour scheme and pictures to make a connection between them. 

Make up and shot location

This is some of the make up used when we was filming as in when she put it on in the video and when the other shots where filmed as well.

This is the mirror we used to film one of the shots we tried to clean it put it didn't work very well so you can tell there is still some smudges when the filming was done. I like doing the shot in the mirror because it was like a reflection on herself and it matches the song and the rest of them music video of what she is going through.

This is from the final shot we did that day of her running down the stairs I had to get the right angle where there is not to much wall but there isn't just the stairs and to much of the coats in the background.

Ancillary Text Ideas

These are some magazine adverts for music albums I will be taking inspiration from these not in the colours and stuff because some of them are not in the genre I would like but in design and layout of the advert. I think the best way to do this one would be medium long shot with the text above and below the picture.

These are CD covers mainly from pop genre so I will be taking ideas from these and seeing what colour schemes they are using. There is a lot of them with just the face what I think might be a good idea because it will be easy but it also looks good.

This is the album name I chose and I wanted to see what it looked like in different fonts and which one looked the best and I like them all to be honest but the first one I think I like the most and teh one I am most likely to use.

My reason for casting Ell is I have known her for a long time and I also know that she is good at acting and that he is reliable.  I also am aware she is available on evenings and weekends like myself which makes my schedule for filming a little easier. There is only 3 main people in the video and he is one of them so shooting may be easy to get them all there when I want them to be.

  This is my main actor, Nick Richardson. Age:17 Height: 5 ft 10" Gender: Male Relationship status: Friend and also Single and ready to mingle.

YouTube: This could be a possible place for my video to feature because a lot of other people post there content on there it is also a place for a lot of people to view it because a lot of people go on that website. I will use this for my music video so friends, family and strangers can all watch it.

Vevo: This is linked with YouTube where basically it is a channel what people go on just for music this is another place that people could go and watch my video. I most likely wont use this for my video because it id for the move professional artist who are more popular.

Instagram: I could post a 15 second clip of my song for people to listen to and if they like it then they can go and download it. I could also just post a picture telling people the song is out and then they can go download it. I will but a 15 second video of my music video for people to get a taste of what it is like and give a link to the video on YouTube in the description.

Twitter:  I could tweet a link to the song to go download it or I could just tweet saying how good it is. This would be a good way to get some feedback on my video and for lots of people to see it in one place. I will tweet my video for the people what follow me to see and maybe some of them will retweet it for more people to see.

Music channel: People can go and watch TV and turn on the music channel they do this just to watch the video or having music on in the background. A lot of people have TV's and therefore can have the music channel. Again this is more for professional who have a lot of money to do this. 

Rockpack: This is where you can grab videos from anywhere and put them in a pack where other people can follow your packs. This would be good because song what are similar top yours will all be in the same back. I have never used Rockpack but I will see how I can upload my video on to it for people to watch.

Facebook: You can share your videos with friends and then they can comment on it telling you what they like and don't like.This is also a good what to show your music video to a lot of people at one time. I will upload my video on my Facebook for all of my 1000 friends to see and hopefully some people will share it so more people will watch it.
